Child Development
A program that provides support services for enrolled expectant or parenting students in order for them to succeed academically and improve parenting skills. This program also provides child care and development program for their children and gives local educational agencies in California opportunities to access resources from the time the students enter the program until graduation. Services include: childcare, support groups, nutrition education, and parenting and health education classes.

A school-health focused public/private partnership to improve health and education outcomes for North San Diego County's school children. Partners include school nurses, school wellness coordinators, community clinics, mental health providers, local and countywide community-based programs, public health nurses and County Health and Human Services Agency staff.
HealthLink North County activities include bi-monthly meetings featuring informational presentations, opportunities for networking and resource sharing, and an email communication list of over 300 partners.

Healthy Development Services (HDS) provides FREE parent workshops, developmental and behavioral check-ups and treatment services for young children and their families.
Children grow and develop at different rates. It is important for parents and caregivers to know how their children are growing and if they are reaching important milestones. HDS helps support the health and development of young children and establish healthy patterns for life-long learning.
All families living in San Diego County with children age 0-5 years 11 months who have not entered Kindergarten are eligible for services.
