Military Families

Kids’ Turn San Diego is a caring non-profit organization for children and parents experiencing family separations or military transitions. We offer specially designed programs facilitated by trained and experienced mental health professionals and credentialed teachers for never married, separated and divorced families, step-parents and children and families experiencing military related transitions.  With a mission of “promoting, supporting and securing the well-being of children who are experiencing the challenges of family separation”, our programs bring peace to children and their families who are experiencing separation, divorce and military transitions. We help parents to understand the emotions and behaviors of their children from a developmental perspective and help them realize that healthy parent-child bonds are an essential component to future decisions and relationships.

Kids’ Turn San Diego programs include:

Family Workshops for separated and divorced families, Peak Performance Family Classes for military families, Continuing the Conversation Counseling for Children, Parenting Time Co-Parenting Classes, and our Step-parent Success Support Group. We have helped change the lives of over 14,000 family members.
